How To Apply
This page explains what forms and information you need to apply for a pension through Cavendish Online. We have a Frequently Asked Questions page that may be of further assistance. You must also read our Terms and Conditions of Business and print and complete the Client Declaration (a PDF file).
Step 1
If you have already obtained the necessary form(s) for your application(s), go straight to Step 2.
If not, first decide which product(s) you want, then obtain the relevant application form(s), either from Cavendish Online or from the company with which your policy will be held.
Please note: Make sure that you are eligible for the product you have chosen. The eligibility rules vary from product to product. If you are unsure and require assistance, please contact us at Cavendish Online.
Step 2
1. Please fully complete your application form, ensuring that you have signed both the form and, where appropriate, the direct debit mandate. If you require help with completing the form, please contact us at Cavendish Online.
2. For regular premium plans, you should send one cheque only, for our fee, made payable to Cavendish Online Limited. For single premium investments you should send two cheques: the cheque for your investment is made payable to the company concerned and is usually for the net contribution to your pension; the cheque for our fee should be made payable to Cavendish Online Limited.
Please note: We cannot take your fee from your investment. If you are submitting a building society/ bank counter cheque, please make sure that the bank or building society has entered your name and account details on the cheque.
3. All investors will need to complete our Client Declaration.
Step 3
Please return:
1. The completed application form(s)
2. The relevant signed cheque and/ or direct debit mandate form(s), made payable to the investment/ insurance company
3. The signed cheque made payable to Cavendish Online Limited for our fee
and
4. Our Client Declaration/ Execution Only Statement

Step 4
1. Our administration department will arrange your pension immediately, keeping you fully informed at all stages, via email.
2. On completion, your policy document is forwarded to you. If you are applying for a Fidelity SIPP your plan will automatically be entered into the Renewal Commission Cashback Service.
Please note: Stakeholder and personal pensions do not pay renewal commission.
3. You will automatically receive our online newsletter. If you do not wish to receive this, please advise us by email or on the client declaration.
