Welcome to the Cavendish Online SIPP via Fidelity's Fundsnetwork
The Cavendish Online Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) brings major benefits to clients managing their own pension portfolio.
- Rebating of renewal commission via our renewal commission service.
- One account for your pension portfolio.
- The facility to manage your portfolio quickly and easily online.
- 1100 funds from 60 investment companies available.
- Access to Fidelity's market leading fund research, analysis and information and tools.
The primary benefit of using Cavendish Online for your SIPP is the low cost incorporating our Renewal Commission Cashback Service. In summary we will keep the first £10.00 of the renewal commission each year and rebate the rest to you. Most of the pension funds pay renewal commission of 0.5% of the value of the fund per annum, so rebating this can have significant benefits to you, the investor.
We are the first company to receive confirmation from the Inland Revenue that we can pay the renewal commission on your SIPP back to you, the investor. They have confirmed that this will not affect the status of your pension. They have not confirmed how the renewal commission will be taxed in the hands of the recipient (you). Their current response is that this is an untested area. The worst case scenario as explained by the Inland Revenue is that the renewal commission may be taxable as income, although this is not the case with ISA/Pep renewal commission rebate schemes.
The primary reason that we chose Fidelity for our Fundsupermarket is their size. This is reflected in the huge range of funds, their reliable systems and their market leading research and analysis tools which can be accessed via Fund Finder on the navigation bar on the left.
These tools include:
Fund Finder - Helps you review the funds available from Fundsnetwork using over 16 different criteria, such as past performance, Standard and Poors or Morningstar ratings and length of fund management tenure.
Fund Reports - Each fund is covered by in-depth factsheet reports, which analyse the fund, its portfolio and the approach of the fund manager. These combine quantitive and qualitative analysis.
Morningstar Portfolio X-ray - Once invested, you can use the Portfolio X-ray to analyse how your overall portfolio is positioned, even where you have invested with many different fund providers.
