BUYING A NEW ISA / OEIC

Cavendish Online is the UK's only solely fee based discount broker. Our charges are based on how much time we expect to spend on a task, and not on how much money you are investing. We believe that commission is inherently unfair as it costs an adviser no more to invest £1,000 than it does £100,000 into a single investment.

The primary benefit of using Cavendish Online for your ISAs and OEICs is our Renewal Commission Cashback Service. In summary, because you are a Cavendish Online customer, 100% of your renewal commission will be paid directly to you by Cofunds or Fidelity. Most ISAs and OEICs pay renewal commission of 0.5% of the value of the fund per annum, so rebating this can have significant benefits to you, the investor. To see examples please click here

Using Cavendish Online via Cofunds or Fidelity

By using either Cofunds or Fidelity to set up your new ISA / OEIC there will be a one-off charge of £25.00. There are no costs for selling your investments.

Two reasons to use Cavendish:

  • 100% initial commission is reinvested. The usual rate if you went direct is between 3 and 5%, of which 3% is often commission. By using Cavendish this means that our initial charges range between 0 and 2%. To find out the fund discounts click here for Cofunds or click here for Fidelity.
  • 100% renewal (trail) commission will be paid back into your bank account every month (via Cofunds) or every 3 months (via Fidelity).
