How To Apply

The method of applying will be different depending on which product you choose. When you carry out a quotation you will see a list of providers with various premiums, sorted by price.

There will be 3 methods of applying:

Online

When applying to Bright Grey or Aviva's Simplified Life policy you will then link to their website and apply online. If they do not need any further information (from your GP for example) then you will be able to put the policy in place immediately.

By Telephone

If you choose a Legal & General policy you will fill in some further information and then request a call from Legal & General (allowing 24 hours notice). They will then call you to complete the application over the telephone.

By Post

For all other companies select the company you wish to apply for once you've carried out a quote and then print and send the following forms to our freepost address* located on the client declaration. These forms will be available when you select the company you wish to apply to.

2. Application Form (Please fully complete, signing both the form & Direct Debit mandate where appropriate)
3. Client Declaration
4. Our £35.00 fee** Pay online or send a cheque payable to Cavendish Online Ltd

Once you apply

1. When applying by post our administration department will forward your application to the relevant company who will then underwrite the policy.
2. We will keep you fully informed at all stages via email.
3. We will forward the acceptance from the life assurance company, which will request a start date for the policy from you. Once this is received by Cavendish Online we will ask the insurer to start your policy and your cover will commence. If you have chosen a start date on your application form and the premium has not changed then the policy will start automatically once underwriting is complete. Until this time you are not covered.
4. On completion, your policy documents are forwarded to you.
