Welcome to Cavendish Online. I’m Ian Williams and I founded Cavendish Online in 2000 as I felt that the life insurance market/sector needed a new approach as even the ‘discounting’ brokers were hugely overcharging clients. I felt that these charges weren’t a fair reflection of the amount of work that most financial advisers did for their clients. With that in mind, I introduced a new way of calculating our fee based on how little we could charge.

Via our online Life insurance service, Cavendish charges £25 flat fee. That’s all. Ever.
Whereas your typical financial adviser will earn around £800 in commission on a £35 a month life insurance policy, you will have commission free premiums for the duration of the policy. This innovative approach has been welcomed by many in the industry and we have benefited from significant endorsement by a number of independent journalists, notably Money Saving Expert founder, Martin Lewis, who has recommended Cavendish Online since he launched his website in 2003.
