Deirdre is a Portfolio Manager and Head of Research for the Ecofin Vista Long/Short Fund. She manages the two fund analysts and liaises closely with Ecofin’s analyst in China. She has focused on clean tech and energy efficiency for over ten years. Prior to joining Ecofin in 2007 Deirdre was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley where she headed their European Renewable Energy coverage effort and built an investment banking and principal investing franchise. Before leaving to attend business school, Deirdre focused on mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory work at Morgan Stanley, with a particular focus on the technology sector. Deirdre has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar, and a BA from University College Dublin. She is an Irish citizen.
