How To Apply
The method of applying will be different depending on which product you choose. When you carry out a quotation you will see a list of providers with various premiums, sorted by price.
There are 3 methods of applying:
Where you see the online symbol you will need to select the policy and link to their website to apply online. If they do not need any further information (from your GP for example) then you will be able to put the policy in place immediately. Once the policy has been confirmed you will then need to go back onto our site to pay our one-off fee of £20.00 (for fee based applications).
When applying for a Vitality policy you will be asked to enter some basic details and then the Vitality medical team will contact you at the time you request to complete your application.
Once you apply
If you have applied online then you will either be told by the provider that cover is in place and in that case you will need to pay our fee and then wait for your policy documents to be posted to you. Or, if the provider requires further information then you will be kept up to date via email and then once complete, the policy documents will be posted to you.
For telephone-based applications you will be told over the phone whether you are able to obtain cover immediately or if any further information is required. You will be kept up to date and then once the policy is complete, the policy documents will be posted to you.
For paper applications, once the forms have been sent to Cavendish Online we will process your application and send them to the relevant provider. You will be kept up to date via email and then once complete, the policy documents will be posted to you.
